Hey, I’m Ned Heller (a.k.a. sp00nz) - Systems Engineer in the Bay Area with 15+ years of experience building systems that actually work.

By day I architect cloud infrastructure and wrangle Kubernetes clusters. By night I reverse engineer classic games - rebuilding Yoda Stories from scratch, reimplementing Super Solvers in C++, and documenting the Empire game format. There’s something satisfying about preserving gaming history and making 90s software run on modern hardware.

I build media streaming platforms (Nedflix powers my home setup), create DevOps tools for infrastructure management, and maintain a collection of utilities for everything from VM migrations to serial console connections. Currently deep into multi-cloud deployment tooling and the occasional Dreamcast homebrew project.

Arctic Code Vault Contributor. Open source advocate. Believer in documentation and clean commits.
